Dr. Ameet Pispati has been extensively trained in Robotic Surgery, Joint Replacement, Sports Medicine & Arthroscopic surgery in UK, Germany & USA. He has pioneered various methods and techniques in Hip surgery and Computer aided Hip & Knee Replacement that can give patients a better result. He is considered an authority in Hip and Knee surgery. He specializes in the latest Hip & Knee Replacement procedures and Knee & Hip Arthroscopic techniques.
Dr Pispati performs Robotic Hip Replacement, Robotic Knee replacement (Partial and Total), and Kinematically Aligned Knee Replacement with an aim to achieve precise bone cuts and soft tissue balancing.
Dr Ameet Pispati desires to spread the Bone Conserving & Rapid Recovery concept for Hip & Knee surgery in India and other parts of the world and loves to train other Orthopaedic Surgeons in the same. He believes in enabling rapid recovery after Joint & Sports surgery, performing complex knee ligament reconstructions and allowing the athlete to regain his livelihood at the earliest.
His qualifications: MS Orth (Mumbai), M Med Sc Surgery of Trauma (UK), Dip Sports Medicine (Royal Colleges, UK), AO Fellow (Germany), MCh Orth (Liverpool, UK), FRCS Trauma & Orth (UK).
Dr Pispati has performed large numbers of Total Hip & Knee replacements, complex Revision Hip & Knee replacements, and Knee & shoulder arthroscopic surgeries. He is trained in newer Hip arthroscopic techniques which can be used to treat hip labral tears and other hip problems.
He has been invited faculty at courses and meetings conducted by the Indonesian, Malaysia, Chinese, ASEAN, Thai, Singapore Orthopaedic Associations, as well as the Bombay Orthopaedic Society, Indian Society of Hip & Knee Surgeons, Coimbatore Orthopaedic Society and Indian Orthopaedic Association.
Has operated on patients from all over India, USA, Canada, UK, France, Africa, Singapore, Nepal, Pakistan, Muscat, Dubai, China, Malaysia, Indonesia.
Dr Pispati is reviewer for the prestigious Indian Journals of Orthopaedics – this is the journal of the Indian Orthopaedic Association.
Dr Ameet Pispati was Doctor to Indian Cricket Team 2003-04 for their Test/One Day matches against New Zealand & Australia.
He is an Invited Honorary Fellow of the Institute of Accident Surgery & South Birmingham Trauma Unit (UK), in view of his exceptional caring & commitment to the Trauma patient.
He has also been awarded the International Diploma in Surgical Resuscitation by the Institute of Accident Surgery & South Birmingham Trauma Unit (UK).
